This year at our annual Halloween Carnival, students, parents, and staff had a spooktacular day playing games, eating pizza and spending the day together! Many thanks to Marlene DeLeon and all our volunteers who helped make this day unforgettable.
On Friday, October 23rd, our 8th grade students performed, "The Magic Flute," in our Student Activity Center (SAC) with the San Francisco Opera Guild. This wonderful experience gave our students the opportunity to act alongside professional artists. The performance was fabulous!
Our students took part in the 13th Annual Worldwide Children's Eucharistic Holy Hour. This is the one day of the year where children all over the world come together to pray for Pope Francis and peace in the world.
One Day - One Hour - One Million Children Praying!
In honor and excitement of Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we asked all students to wear a solid white shirt on 9/23/15. Even though the Holy Father did not visit our school, the students could feel his presence.
Reading is the key to learning. Many thanks to Desiree Rubio who chaired this event. We couldn't have done it without her. Thank you to all who supported this fundraiser by purchasing books and items!
Welcome back MDS students, families and staff! We look forward to a great school year.
Congratulations, graduates! We are so proud of you. May you continue to grow spiritually and academically in the years ahead. Blessings to you!
